Trumpf has presented three partner companies with the Supplier Award for their outstanding and long-standing cooperation. Among them, IDS Imaging Development Systems GmbH received the "Best Innovator" award for its swift development of new monitoring technology for the company.

IDS developed a customized solution for Trumpf that combines their uEye Live monitoring technology with the IDS NXT camera platform, enabling high-resolution 4K streaming with maximum IP code 69K. IDS was recognized for how this advance will open new opportunities in the areas of remote operation, process digitization and machine autonomy — key topics for the future of manufacturing.

In its own announcement of the award, Trumpf cited IDS’s NXT camera platform and “flexible technology architecture,” and echoed the many new industrial applications it was excited to explore with this technology.

“Trust, quality and working together to move forward are our top priorities in our collaboration with our suppliers, Jan Kistner, head of corporate purchasing at Trumpf, said. “With the Trumpf Supplier Awards, we recognize partners who go above and beyond the everyday — through outstanding reliability, exceptional innovative strength, and the courage to break new ground with us.”

"This recognition shows that we are on the right track with our innovation strategy," Jan Hartmann, managing partner of IDS, said. “We would like to thank all teams for their outstanding efforts and look forward to many more exciting projects with Trumpf.”
